Every fēnix 5 Plus Series watch has multinetwork (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) satellite reception to track in more demanding settings than GPS alone. In addition to map-based guiding, each watch also contains a set of ABC (altimeter, barometer and compass) sensors for outdoor navigation. The built-in altimeter gives elevation data to correctly measure climb and descent for activities such as trekking, while the tilt-compensated three-axis electronic compass retains your heading – whether you’re moving or not.
